Strategic objectives:
Bringing together scientists from different fields with professionals and institutions “in the field” in the social area, ProChild will contribute scientifically to:

• the development of R&D in the social area;
• the development of scientifically validated intervention programs, bringing together concrete contributions from academia and fieldwork;
• the development of fundamental research in basic and complex development albeit social processes, with a multilevel approach that links (epi)genetic-immunology-brain-behavior-community-society;
• the development of applied research related to the effectiveness of programs through biosensor prototypes, software development and scientific publications;
• interdisciplinary and open access science;
• strengthening the link between professional education-research-practice;
• strengthening the social arena with research strategies;
• scientifically informed policies.
