Objectives

Inhabit the space between Architecture-Art-Design-Urbanism to create a methodology of approximation to the Learing Field, directed to the child’s development, in its otherness and in its connectivity with the “other”, stimulating the space-temporal dynamics;
Create strategies for the transformation of the Learning Field that integrate the population through socio-spatial actions, which focus the child on the transformation of spaces into belonging places;
Include the child in the teaching of architecture, art, design and urbanism, contributing to their disciplinary repositioning.

Objectives

Contribute to the transformation of training in the various disciplinary areas of the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the University of Minho (EAAD.UM), through the integration of the Project in the various study cycles of the EAAD.UM.
Promote research projects and scientific studies in the field of urban intervention, social participation and citizenship, using an interdisciplinary, multilevel approach focused on child inclusion.

Intervene for the quality of neighborhood spaces, places that stimulate imagination, promote interaction and sharing.
Enhance pedestrian circulation and cycling mobility in order to combat the ‘insularisation’ process.
Build a space of opportunity, information space, non-stereotyped recreation space.
